"I don't feel he is as good while ranged. I only switch to Mercury Cannon for the passive buff, the armor/mr reduction, and a q-e combo. When you have mana return, aoe damage, stun/knockback/nuke, slow/jump, increased defenses, why go for just a bit more range?"
