"It's not an ideal rush since it doesn't provide enough hybrid utility power during mid game (before AP Bard transitions into an AP Carry) and provides less overall gold/dmg than Void Staff and Rabadons, making the other two more effective if increasing damage."

"Thanks! I'm not entirely sure. The needs of the laning phase are different from the needs of the jungle and damage takes way longer to ramp up. I imagine Tear of the Goddess would probably be necessary to keep up with the lack of mana sustain in the lane though that's just a guess."
