Does anyone else agree with me? While I love the current maps that are offered, and while I do also enjoy how they release seasonal maps such as the winter themed summoners rift, I feel like for as long as this game has been around, there would be more then just three core maps. Now, im not asking for some map pack, i understand this isnt call of duty lol, but I wish that the game had more maps, or that I atleast knew riot wanted to make more maps at some point. I just like more variety in my games every now and then!
1. Don't play TT/know what TT is.
2. Never played DOTA.
3. Played dominion saying it was the new map they were waiting for, then switched back to SR in 1 week demanding/complaing that riot needs to make new maps.
I had no idea there was something in the works already, that is so awesome! But keondre brought up something I forgot to mention. When you look at the "map" of the league of legends world, you can highlight the different parts of the map where the different gameplay maps are, while this is cool you quickly realise that about 90% of the map is unclickable, which kinda leaves me to wonder if they plan to ever do something with the rest of that lol. However with what you said it looks like they are so yay!
Riot has presumably a new game mode in the works called Supremacy. I'm betting that that will be the next major announcement.
