I feel that League of Legends is gradually leaning towards a game solely for profit. I know that this is why they make games in the first place, but now that the game is being altered to the specifications of the "new players/people who just suck" I can't help but feel that it's becoming like any ole' Nexon game ie. Maplestory (Which I used to play A LOT and quite wealthy, max mesos etc.)
I know some of you guys don't think of these changes as a big deal, but for me I just think Riot just behaves how the lower half of the community wants them too. What about the other half of the community who actually cares? There are many things that are suggested by the other half of the community that is heeded no attention to. Like what the ****, a re-work on the jungle catered to players sub level 30? The whole point of playing was to get to level 30. Once you have achieved that level like everyone should then a player should experience these things with a feeling of accomplishment/reward.
I feel like the competitive scene is dwindling and everything is beginning to have no skill involved, which is NOT the reason I started League of Legends.
Look at Starcraft 2, DoTA 2, etc. for example, they aren't popular because they're easy to play, it's because they're challenging games!
/end rant
On a happy note here's a song I've been obsessing over
Hope you enjoy it too! :)

Yeah PsiGuard I see what you mean, but you haven't felt that some of the decisions Riot made in the past year seemed highly favorable for the lower part of the player-base?
League of Legends was also a bit controversial in some of its changes from DotA. The removal of creep and tower denial was greeted with some hostility from the perspective that it "dumbed down the game" for newer players instead of catering to the high-calibur player base. A lot of the balance decisions have been criticized under the same presence, and even the season 2 masteries received some flak for changing up the "perfect" S1 trees that were so well balanced for professional play.
Every time a game like LoL or SC2 makes any significant alterations to gameplay it is almost always rejected by elitists on the grounds that the company is "catering to noobs." This is rarely the case, and usually these qualms are quickly forgotten once the player base becomes accustomed to the new changes. I still have high hopes for LoL and I don't expect it'll decay into a noob game at any time in the future when Riot is just starting to make their mark on eSports.
*happy dance*
Actually, changing the jungle will make it harder for high elo players. Now that camps will respawn faster, the jungler doesn't have to go Blue > Wolves > Wraiths > Red > Double Golems etc, and it will now be harder for the support to track with CV (as that was nerfed too).
I think with these changes we will be seeing more unconventional junglers (Miss Fortune, Kayle) and lots of unexpected/unanticipated ganks. Jungling will also be possible pre-level 20, which is opening a new venue for players who haven't yet obtained the prior necessary runes and masteries required for speedy jungling.
In terms of Riot trying to make money, well yeah. Millions of dollars per day is spent whenever a new skin comes out. They're fine with the money front. They could shut the game down now and go holidaying in Tahiti for the rest of their lives.
[sarcasm] But Jhoijhoi... I thought they took that $5 Million Prize pool out of their pockets and out of the goodness of their hearts! [/sarcasm]
I agree, but i also think that you will see a different breed of jungler.
Nocturne, TF, Cho'Gath, Malphite, and any of the Farmer junglers or junglers who can gank from the jungle will be pretty strong on the new patch.
Sion will be super scary.
