"AD Sona + Support Soraka is a much better to start with...
AD Sona + Janna is even better. I've done both of these combos a bunch of times and they work really well.
You also have to try this: Soraka (support. Don't ever play her AD if you're serious) + Galio
It is absolutely amazing"
