"Rod of Ages could be built, and is core on solo lane Swain, but I don't like it on bot. Just because lane has much faster pace and it's really annoying to wait it's stacking. "

"Ignite is also viable spell for Swain, personally I prefer exhaust, because in many situations when you want to ignite someone they are barely in range or even out of range of ignite and that can feel bad, on the other hand, exhaust is used when enemies are in you to prevent their burst from"
