"Pickpocket is useless on any melee champion (that isn't Gangplank or Kayle). Put that point into Summoner's Wrath instead. Perserverance would be better spent in Resistance or Relentless.
Build #2's marks are what I'd recommend more.

"Let's see...I would go for AoE on-hit Gangplank. So Avarice Blade → Statikk Shiv, Sheen → Iceborn Gauntlet, and Tiamat → Ravenous Hydra.
