drakon136 here! I've got one full guide and three miniguides I'm working on right now, all of which at similar levels of completion (nonexistent). So, I've got a question for you! Which should I work on next?

• My full guide for Karthus in mid-lane
• A miniguide for Crit Assassin Malphite in mid-lane
• A miniguide for AP Burst Mage Cho'Gath in mid-lane
• A miniguide for AD/Mana Bruiser Taric in top-lane

I wasn't really thinking and since they tend to be completely useless; Xin, Vi, and Nocturne are more often built tanky.

Zed isn't "not much", by the way. He can singlehandedly do at least 50% of an entire team's health with triple shuriken and two Es.

Back on the main topic though, how do you propose to actually farm the items you need with , considering how terrible your laning phase is?

Malphite doesn't need to be full build to do damage; he just needs his two core items. Granted, he does deal less than any other assassin would with those two items early on, and less than a lot of assassins without items. More helps a lot though.

Also, as for assassins that deal a ton of AOE damage:

Fiora: Some, but not much and very unreliable. A lot with Tiamat/Hydra, I admit.
Kha'Zix: Yes, but needs resets.
Master Yi: Good amount, but needs resets.
Nocturne: Some, but not much.
Pantheon: Yes, but channeled.
Riven: Forgot about her. Yes she does a ****ton.
Shaco: Nope.
Talon: Yes.
Vi: Yes, if built as an assassin.
Xin Zhao: Some with his ult, but not much.
Zed: Some, but not much.

And of that list, four of them are almost useless in teamfights if built as an assassin. Malphite is the only one that has a gap closer with long range, game-changing CC, stupid burst, AND ******ed AOE damage all at once.

All of them? And 100% outdamages Malphite. All the other AD assassins don't need to be full build to do damage. Malphite does.

Admittedly, it's not the best build, but I feel it's viable enough to at least do a miniguide on.

Besides, how many other AD assassins deal a ****ton of AOE damage as well as single-target? Talon does but his burst is *** compared to other assassins (but not bad by any means). Kha'Zix and Master Yi do as well but they need resets for it.

The problem with your "crit assassin malphite" is that you need to farm up the gold and items in the first place, which is not happening because you're AD mid . Your pre-6 laning phase is almost as bad as (probably worse since you're maxing something that's not Q) and your post-6 kill potential relies 100% on which is not a low cooldown skill by any means. Other assassins are perfectly capable of killing people without their ultimates and are generally very strong lane bullies.

Also remember that other champions actually have AD ratios on their skills. Your W, even with , is merely adding 240% AD to your three autos. Other AD assassins have far better ratios and base damages.

Because with an Infinity Edge, Ravenous Hydra, Bloodthirster, and Last Whisper, he hits 570 AD after Brutal Strikes. Multiply that by 2.5 and you get 1425. Multiply that by 3 (crits from Sword of the Divine) and you get 4275 damage in three attacks; his burst full build before reductions. Also, consider the number 3163; that is the minimum damage he deals to nearby enemies when he's not even punching them in the face. Seriously, it's hilarious. He's kinda like a Talon that can always kill the squishy instead of usually, while doing more damage to the rest of the team.

Alrighty, I was thinking of working on that one next, especially since I have the most progress on it. While I'm at it, Crit Malphite is a mid-lane assassin; core items are Sword of the Divine and Infinity Edge. Since is a 40% AD steroid and is , you can easily jump into mid- to late-game teamfights and wreck. It also helps that the passive from crits too, letting you wreck the whole team.
