TBH: I take the suggestion seriously
My opinion:
* support karma can hurt as hell and don't need that much gold from beginning so leave it to ashe
* pick that combo against heavy poke set-ups like Sona + Graves since karma's passive balance out their poke and let them regret every bullet send her way
* possibly if you're blue and jungler does not need golems, let karma + ashe kill them (karma tanking) getting free gold, XP and AP (from dmg) in the process.
* gank hard - karma's speed/slow and Ashes slow makes escape wery unlikely and enemy will be propably wounded most of the time.
* as jungler pick something with heavy dmg like akali or oriana (before you laugh - im serious, jungle oriana works)

I would reccomend 5 thornmail though. It would eventually turn into a 5v4 because the other AD carry would get fed up and sit in fountain.
