Morgana, Orianna, Zilean are great utility mages that probably would be similar to your supports.

You can easily cap out your CDR with a blue pot and blue buff.
For mages just go for flat AP quints and ap/lvl glyphs or mr glyphs"

Stomped a Malphite who started Cloth 5. Other lanes did okay, but jungle Alistar #1 ganks for snowball so ye.
