You don't main a role just by playing it a lot.
You main a role by fully understanding it AND are able to apply it in a real game.
Tbh I dont think any 1200 should say they main anything.
A more appropriate way to say it would be "I'm better at ___" or "I'm more familiar at ___"
Getting sick of people saying they main stn :/ Kinda dumb tbh

I think you're just annoyed by the arrogance, not really the term. The arrogant people just use that term because they think it sounds impressive.
I feel when you say you "main" a role it means that you are a great player in that role.
@Psi's case: But if you see a lvl 20 play Nasus like a level 30 and say "I main Nasus" in an arrogant way I don't think it's right for them to even say that.
I don't agree (which is fine, I can agree to disagree). If there's a level 20 who plays Nasus like a level 30 but everything else is horrible, I'd say he mains Nasus. If someone ONLY knows how to play top decently and is horrible at everything else, I'd say they main top lane.
Doesn't mean they can claim they understand everything about it, but usually people "main" whatever they're best with.
I agree.
Just because they suck in your eyes, they're doing the best in theirs.
EDIT: Especially when his blog is still on the front page....
