"Yeah you can go ap maokai I think that's actually pretty strong in urf lol but I think tank is better in summoners rift but if you're just playing him for fun ap does work ok. Attack speed reds for dueling you auto attack a lot in tank matchups so it's more damage then running magic pen or attack da"

I think if you're planning on learning top lane Darius is a great champion to start with, lots of newer players have a very rough time dealing with him because he is pretty bulky/tanky while still...
