"Well it might be a good idea yeah. But I am not convinced, Lux needs the hardcore damage and not the survivability.
Lux' weakest part of the game is pre 5 and very very late game. But hey, that goes for every burst mage :p

But seriously, I never buy them and I keep on getting good scores. There is not one stat on Doran's Ring that benefits Lux. hp is useless, mana regen is not needed if you know how to play her and I can get the AP elsewhere."

"Lucent Singularity does about 0 damage at rank 1 and 2. Until I am level 5 I usually just save up on mana, and I try to get them low so I can snipe that."
