My first champion was Janna also, it went like that because a long-time friend of mine plays Caitlyn all the time, and we found out that the two of them worked out quite well, even though we sucked balls as we were only level 10 or so :D

"Vlad shines in midgame, let's say between level 9 and 13. Before and after that, he is not that good at all. I think some slight nerf there, and slight buffs at other levels, can make him more balanced and more often picked :)"

btw, I used to run 15-0-15 all the time with old masteries, but I think that currently it's no good.
I think 9/0/21 is still best on most casters, BUT perhaps, for some nukes such as Annie/Leblanc and such 21-0-9 might pay off... Can't tell since I don't play them "
