"He did say "the combo may be good", which made me believe he meant Ardent + Stoneborn. Also, I forgot to add that most champions can only apply on single allies (Janna shield, Sona heal, Lulu shield etc), whereas Ashe's autos/Volley/ECA tag'd Stoneborn can be utilised by 4 allies."

"Yes, I think you're right about the upgrade to Eye not actually giving enough - though the 10% CDR is quite important for ECA. But the 10% CDR is definitely not worth 550G. Will edit the guide.
I'll try out those tankier runes and post back with results."

"Also, imagine if the ADC takes runic armor over veteran's scars. Even MORE healing ^^ Stoneborn + Ardent basically gives the advantage to your ADC over the enemy ADC, as they don't have access to this extra heal (and eventual attack speed buff and on-hit damage)."
