"Reduces incoming damage by 1 (at first level), then 2 (with a second mastery point allocated).
It doesn't reduce all damage by 1/2 (half).
Reduces a 10 damage hit by 1 damage (1 point allocated) then by 2 damage (2 points allocated).
Hope that clears it up for you."

"Pro tip: duplicate layers before you edit them. This means that you can always apply an older layer on top of the rest and lower the opacity.

"I was thinking the same thing. I think that all guides should drop to "stale" or "fresh", and it is up to the author's to publish with new content.
I also think now is more important than ever to actually include the masteries into the guide content."
