The auto-attack reset means using auto-attack (ability) auto-attack. Nothing else to it really so I believe you're doing it correctly. I believe parrley counts as auto-attack and the wiki means...

nunu. He is a top tier pick and rivals with other cinderhulk junglers (Grag, Seju) but is often looked down in comparison between them. Great pick against hypercarry adcs which are a thing atm....
