You can start cloth armor and 5 pots and you'll be fine as long as you stay out of melee range.
When you hit 6 you literally burst 40% of his health down with 1 jump, he can't deal with that. (+ as soon as you get revolver/will you can outsustain his damage all day)"

"Came to the conclusion today that Akali wrecks Gangplank. As long as you don't die pre-6, as soon as you hit 6 he's pretty much fucked
Same goes for Lee Sin tbh, just play it safe and don't die pre-6 and you'll beat him cause her damage and sustain is much higher"
