Galio is Magic damage with a taunt on his ult.
They are in no way similar just pick what you like the most style wise."

Karma doesn't lane well with Vayne.
She has no jump-to to abuse spirit bond's damage. Her range is so short, she's probably going to have to use a mantra-shield every time it's up. Doesn't work well."

Karma works well with champions that have a dash-to as it makes great use of the damage on spirit bond and easily wins trades as it helps you escape too.
Another thing Chaotic forgot to mention. QSS isn't only for heavy CC. It's also for removing game-changing de-buffs.
