Anything that is a spell, will heal off spell vamp UNLESS it applies on-hit abilities.
Parrrley, Mystic shot and, Double up all apply on-hit effects and work with spell vamp.

"At level 1, Karma would just barely out-shield Olaf's E with 21/X/X masteries and the average caster runes.
I think it could work well. The Karma would level W sooner for the damage when Olaf has to come at her for his E."
