"I've never seen good ganks come from Olaf. That might just be me though.
Also, what qualifies as "gear independent"? Being able to clear the jungle at level 18 without any items or, being underleveled and still clearing with sufficient speed?"

Murphy's LoL says that whenever you have a Free Blitz, he will pull the tank or the assassin towards your carry.

"I had a lot of mana in the build because of Strength of Spirit so I didn't have to build as many defensive items as early.
Now I have to rush defenses faster.
Thankfully Maokai farms like a boss if he needs to...
AD carries be so bad at farming. <_<"

"That's what I was suspecting.
You heal a bit more on lower HP targets because of the 21st mastery and it makes your early game jungling quite a bit easier."

"Honestly, I would think he's a 21/0/9 jungler now.
With the buff to smite giving it the CDR part of the mastery as a standalone, the increased power in general is great for him."
