"Auras are, IMO, best for her. It allows her to become an asset at all times, even when silenced. Also, her base heals are great as is. It may not seem like much, but it is usually enough to stall the enemy team enough to win the fight. Max CDR is always a must. It means more clutch silences and fast"

"I prefer regular casting for most skills. Only skills that you just target and it attacks in a line or such are the skills I would use smartcasting for.
Truly, with Ryze, after you get off the first Q and your snare, you don't need anything like smartcast anyway."
