"As much as you say these weren't my fault I feel that I have to take responsibility. I should start to notice these things and mention them.
I should notice he isn't doing well on creeps and realize I have to move to help him. I need to start being able to lead games with my support role.

"What about 1/2/1 jungle. Having a support in the mid lane would be nice especially with someone like soraka that buffs an AP laner."
