"It's a novelty build for sure. Stacking gunblades would be more stable, but the idea with this is just to put a lot in the boomerang and then use add items to make use of the AP in other ways. Not really recommended vs humans unless it's a just-for-fun custom game. It can probably be used on Interme"

"I've had a so-so time with hextech gunblade. It contributes more boomerang damage than a full bloodthirster and has a nice activated ability, so it could be useful if one of them disproportionately stacks armor, maybe. The activated ability makes it a lot easier to hit with boomerang blade"

"...I re-read it, and yeah, that's what you were going for. Maybe I play against bots too much - Ryze always starts with Rune Prison, for example, so no wonder one spell shield seems to be enough. X-D
Still, Hexdrinker as a situational item for un-SSable AOE might be worth a mentio"
