"@Cooper, yes Varus is the opposite of say... Vayne. Varus is at his strongest at the beginning of laning phase because his Piercing Arrow does retarded damage early game and he has very good base stats, but his damage starts to fall off late game and his abilities don't help his outp"

"Yea, when Varus was released a lot of people went mid with him. Then they quickly realized his sucks without a support backing him, and they also realized he falls off mid-late game unlike other carries."

"Cassiopeia can beat varus with ease. Varus is actually a very easy champion to kill by himself. He's got a good (But easy to anticipate) poke, and not much else to him. He hates things being up in his face, and he hates mobility."

"EDIT: I misread, didn't see mid lane.
Any really aggressive, and mobile caster. Ahri, Viktor, Rumble, Fizz to name a few. He doesn't like "in your face" champions."
