"Essence Reaver is now a crit item, which really isn't what Jax wants. Previous iteration of Essence Reaver gave the Essence Flare active, but the item was essentially ''extracted'' into Spear of Shojin and Essence Reaver was just reverted to it's crit iteration.

"I don't necessarily consider Renekton a counter, although in general he is a lane bully. I just feel Ornn is one of those tanks that have the tools to survive Renektons strong laning phase, although you probably won't win the lane alone. Ornn's W gives him unstoppable, which in retur"

"Yeah I don't see a matchup where going Press the Attack would benefit you more than Conqueror. You run Press the Attack in the jungle since you can proc it relatively fast and it'll also increase your teammates damage, but in lane you'll still get much more value from Conqueror."
