"I heart Guardsmanbob but I wouldn't necessarily call him a high rated player. Only 100 elo higher than Vavena.
I think its perhaps his ability to initiate team fights that makes him shine in low elo. A lot of meh players could use that communication.

"My only ranked experience as support was in HoN I did wind up getting to near top elo before beta went down with only about 1/4 the games played of other players.
My secret, I switched to a carry.
But seriously I did play a lot of support and did well for a while.

"I dunno I think I won games by raging at supports to sell crappy item for wards. The thought of wards making you weaker I feel is the mark of a player that doesn't know how to maximize ward usage.
Wards should make you more money than you invest."

"You can lane nocturne as well, people just don't really do it. He's really good late game I guess it just hasn't clicked with a lot of people yet.
