I believe they said that through his rework, Willump became a core part of Nunu's identity, both lore-wise and champion-wise, prompting them to make the change to include Willump.

"Generally, press the attack is good against champions with escapes or champions you don't want to push up against.
Lethal Tempo is really good in extended trades (generally 3 or more seconds), so it's not as good against champions with an escape like fiora, renekton, riven etc"
