Posted a Comment: "Yea, pretty much. Linux has been worked on so much by so many good coders that I doubt Window's core is even close to as effective. The problems with gaming on Linux will probably be poor drivers and possibly problems with OpenGL, but from what I've seen of OpenGL it seems just as good as Direct"
