So this week we get
Thresh,
Fiora,
Gangplank,
Kassadin,
Master Yi,
Nunu & Willump,
Singed,
Teemo,
Twitch, and finally
Zyra. Oh where do we start with this one, oh I know. The sheer amount of carries this time around. Especially the harder of the carries to play like
Twitch and
Gangplank. The reason I am singling them out is because twitch relies on his stealth mechanic to really do any form of damage since it gives him a huge attack speed boost. Also
Gangplank is very critical strike reliant and sadly this week I've already seen a lot of "Free Week'
Gangplanks' who have no idea how to play in normal.
So lets get into detail about
Twitch first shall we? So how you want to play him is usualy get a lot of early game damage along with an early game point in your stealth as a escape tool and harass. Well sadly most players get the slow first thinking they'll get a kill at level one as
Twitch which gets them killed early in the game and then they just stop trying.
Twitch has an interesting play style where you can't really take a hit, but if you use his range from the ultimate he has then you can deal out some major damage in a team fight if you do it right.
Now moving onto
Gangplank he has to rely on his Q ability more than anything since it can deal some massive damage if used correctly. (going off of the usual run down of how he plays.)
Gangplank has some unique game play and from what I've seen just starting out this week in games oh boy people have a lot to learn about him. Most of them don't even know about his heal and when I ask them "Hey heal up with your ability" they simply reply "I can do that?" or
"I'm not building life steal yet." The things that make me face-palm are these players, but still I help them and sometimes make a cool friend out of it!
So as for the hard to medium champions this week besides
Twitch and
Gangplank are
Zyra,
Kassadin,
Nunu & Willump, and
Thresh. So
Zyra is a little difficult to play in my opinion since he abilities are not as powerful as they used to be and I usually see a lot of her abilities get dodged out of since they're a bit slow.
Zyras' Q is very visual in effect and has a slow activation time and unless you can land her snare it won't do much. As for her "minions" she can make they're not that powerful and usually can be tanked by the support for a little bit.
Thresh I wish was never going to be "Free Week", but oh well it was bound to happen sooner or later. So far I have not seen many thresh players, but the ones I have been seeing have no idea what they are doing. They don't understand that his q works like
Blitzcranks' grab and
Nautiluss' grab put together and met in the middle. Also people are still figuring out that his lantern teleports you to him when you click on it if he deployed it.
Kassadin is fairly hard to medium to learn. Really the only thing you need to learn about him is to use his silence at the right time and when and where to teleport the rest is simple about him.
Nunu & Willump has some fun mechanics such as his snowball that slows, the attack speed buff and then the consume that heals him.
Nunu & Willump's ult is pretty straight forward in terms of use, huge radius of damage and slow.
Now to cover
Teemo,
Singed,
Master Yi, and
Fiora. So
Teemo is easy just blind , auto attack, and put out shrooms.
Singed is just run, run, run, and sometimes toss them back into your team along with sometimes using the slow.
Master Yi is simple you just spam Q if you're AP or just auto attack with his ult.
Fiora is basically just
Master Yi without the attack speed being an ultimate and her ultimate bouncing around champions.
Leave some feedback about what you think I love to read it!
