If you want a morde that can tank, and do damage, you don't build AP, you have to build CDR and spell penetration.

I much prefer the Regrowth + 1 pot start, because rejuv bead doesn't build into anything, and regrowth pendant is more hp/5 for the long run.

"You have 3% CDR unless you stack your Meijai's.
Then you have 18%, which is significantly less than 40%, you also have very little Spell Penetration.
With Morde's AP Ratios, Haunting Guise is more magic damage than Rabadons until about 600 ap, in which case it's still half the cost."
