"Spirit Visage is a cheap and rather OP item in the end. Health, CDR, and a 15% healing boost (all for less than 2000 gp)? Soraka needs the first two and the third makes her even harder to kill. I also recommend some tank items, but when you're shut down and short for gold you cant afford to go for e"

"I admit the first two are not great items late game, but I am very specific about getting them early game and then selling them later so as to get better items.
Will of the Ancients sucks for Soraka's abilities, but getting it when you are a back-up caster is ok. "

"Nidalee deals almost no physical damage...Nid is a great champ, one of my all time favorites, but she just can't deal as much physical damage as Kayle.
I could replace Janna with Nid but then you'd lose a lot of CC.
Soraka has the best heals in the game so I can't really afford to replace her.
