I'll just do what everyone else does and gloat about their stupid ELO. Seeing how ELO is pointless and shows nothing about a persons true potential, I figured I'd post it up anyways and see how it feels. Yeh. I just want the gold boarder and the free skin for this season tbh. I'll post a funny blog sometime tomorrow (i think).

This happens every single game. Rather then sitting down and watching who the bans are or who picks who (or just reserving adc's and supports and jungles with our first picks), they're already calling out what champions they're going to play rather then seeing who they're up against so they can counter that champion accordingly. So yeh, 70% of the time, they get counter picked and me and twi pick up the slack and WIN. What's lame? Those idiots get carried up in ranked (up to 1550 for me with these morons). I'm approaching 1600 soon and yet, every game I'm still finding these idiots in game. I dunno, I know that ELO to some extent shows a players skill, but solo queue elo is ******** seeing how most of the people I play with arn't really all that great (And they have the BIGGEST ego;s ever!). It's annoying and super sad for me.
I will continue this when I get home, typing on a art phone sucks :(
I do agree that elo doesn't show true potential, but that's only for the people who do not play ranked. If a person is stuck on a certain elo for a long time then they simply are not as good as players who can easily get through that elo. There will be incidents of people having higher elo proving out to be worse than people having lower elo but that's only a few cases.
Being able to maintain a certain elo means you're able to keep up with the required skill capacity people need to have to actually play well at that elo, whether solo queue carrying / roaming or basic mechanics.

ELO is pointless though. Soloqueue anyways, primarily because that's the version of (real LoL) ranked where you can get away with not knowing all the game fundamentals. Solo queue is fun and all, I do well in LoL, but at the end of it, unless I have a chalange (like I did my last game), having gold ranked for that seems really stupid. xD
I hope the competition actually gets challenging cause solo queue ranked is really kind of too easy.
