"Rush a sheen. That should give you ~80 burst damage at first.
After that, don't get lich bane until you get your deathcap. Why? Because you're paying ~2000 gold to get around 20, 30 more damage at that point. It's just not worth it until you're getting 100+ damage from the upgrade."

"Regrowth isn't a bad start for top - it does give decent sustain, and once you push out the lane it means you can grab a very early philo stone. Not to say this is best on irelia, but its not a bad start at all, situational at least. "
