It makes you so much more tanky that if you don't start with it, you have such a big disadvantage over your lane in terms of all-out potential that you're nearly guaranteed to lose your lane.

"A good guide, but I don't see why you would bother making one since there already are 2 really good caitlyn guides up that are just like yours.
Also, if you start Q first, go Q-E-Q-W instead of Q-W. Having the escape is quite important. I would never recommend starting traps at level 1. "
