Tank, perhaps combined with some AP items like rylai's crystal scepter or liandry's torment. Sunfire cape is core after spirit of the ancient golem.

They should, yes. The changes were made so that attack speed slows were put under the 'crowd control' category instead of 'debuff'. However, I'm not 100% sure so I'd recommend you test it in a...
