Imagine this scenario.
You're at a hotel which you paid for.
The manager thinks the tiled roof (which has had no faults at all) is faulty
He removes the tiled roof, replaces it with some newspaper
You complain
They put another layer of newspaper on top rather than putting the tiles back on
Refuses to change it back to the tiles because they adamantly think that their idea of newspaper is better than the tiles
That would be a joke, right? That's the situation now with the jungle.
Copied and pasted from my jungling 101 guide, the effects of the change -
What the change did -
That's not mentioning the fact that it won't even change the "jungle meta" for the better. As I mentioned, it means farming is the best way to go now, and passive gameplay isn't fun. Though what we'll see is different champions phasing in (such as Malphite and Yi) to being some of the best, now at a glance, you think "WOW, more junglers! Good job Riot!", though you fail to take into account junglers that are considerably worse after this change, such as Warwick and Fiddlesticks (who, by the way, REALLY sucks now). You don't broaden the jungling selection, you only change it. There's also the fact that there's always going to be junglers that are better than others, too. This change won't change it.
Before you bash at me for "not embracing change", please read all of my points with consideration. I like change, I was annoyed that the new masteries meant champions breezed through the jungle, though all in all they were positive, and allowed a lot more customisation with your choices. The jungle remake isn't a good change. Not all changes are positive.

Stonewall008 on the new jungle - "The fact that there are less "viable" junglers now..."
Riot have blatantly failed on at least one of their fronts, as I've said before.

What the change did -
- Removed any form of skill from jungling. It's now just about killing creeps.
- Counter jungling is useless and pointless.
- Underlevelled, underfarmed junglers
- Farm based jungles (like Yi, etc) are now the best type, promoting passivity and lack of action
- Control junglers are bad (with the exception of those that can duel in the enemy's jungle, like Lee Sin, they're just worse, not quite bad)
- Ganking junglers are bad
- Far less choice in the route that you go. Basically, you go the Aggressive route or become underlevelled.
- Devalued the choice of a jungler as a whole
- Sustainability of any kind is a joke - take Trundle for example, he can go through the jungle and be at full health permanently just starting with a Vampiric Sceptre
- Seeing "unique" junglers (like Blitz) isn't "unique" (or at least AS "unique" as it was) any more.
- No thought process between focussed or transitional runes/masteries for certain situations. Everyone can breeze through the jungle anyway so you might as well just go transitional.
- Lower amount of viable junglers.

Stonewall on the new jungle
Try and make more junglers viable
Reduce amount
Gogogo Riot
And I disagree with 90% of that. Counterjungling. Kill the sigil monster. They lose most of it. Ganking is even more worth it. You won't get ahead by farming. You have to gank to get ahead. The Jungle, if anything, is more skill based, if you take into account all the actions of jungling, including knowing when and where to gank.
They had to take into account MORE things beforehand.
When and where to gank, when and where to counter jungle, ganking or continuing jungle route, as a few examples.
Counter jungling is considerably weaker. You could kill sigil monsters in the old jungle, too. It just took considerably more risk and effort to do so, high risk, high reward.
Ganking isn't worth it because farming junglers are the best junglers. I'm talking Yi, etc. If you are playing a ganking jungler like Riven, you need to gank to keep your levels up. For the best junglers in the new jungle, though, you farm all day long.
2 of 3 of those have been removed. Jungling still has a pinch of skill, but significantly less than there was, especially when farming junglers are the best now.
I jungled Udyr the other day, and i was level 17 when my bot lane was level 13.
I don't really know what you guys are doing in the jungle, but I'm doing fine...
That's irrelevant, it doesn't include any information about time, bot lane could've sucked, etc.
Also, Udyr's one of the fastest junglers in the game. Not sure about his speeds in the new jungle but I'm sure he's fast. I'd be surprised if as one of the fastest junglers in the game you DID get underlevelled to be honest. The fact you can farm all day long in a jungle doesn't really show any form of skill, either, not to dig on you at all - it's just not an exciting way to play that Riot is promoting.
However, this was made before the XP buff. Even if the point about XP is moot now, the rest of it still stands.

I hope that Riot will revert the jungle changes. I had been trying to jungle all of yesterday, and wondering why the heck I was three levels behind everyone else. On one hand, Riot isn't Frogster or some other rotten f2p company, on the other hand, I've been noticing a disturbing trend with Riot. They keep adding these "mobility" champs that end up being a pain in the ***.
Enjoy.
