Hello! I'm not familiar with the jungle because I haven't gone so much in-depth with it, sadly I don't have jungle champs like Jarvan IV or Shyvana, which is a bit bad considering that I'm going to give you some tips on jungling from a more "outsider perspective".

One thing I always notice, is that the ganks a jungler need to do, has to be a garuanteed death sentence to be effectve; What I mean by that is that if there's for example a tryndamere toplane(enemy on blue side) against a vladimir toplane (ally on red side) and you are an amumu at level 6, and because of the dynamics in this toplane, vladimir can use his Q and W + Autoattack's to just stay out of trynda's range, and even if trynda gets a q off, vlad can just w. Another thing about this situation, the lane is fairly pushed into vlad's tower because he will let trynd push into him so he can zone him effectively using the tactic that I mentioned earlier. That's why we can assume Trynda is pretty low.

You come in as an amumu with your one time q in a gank, and there's really a huge thing that you have to do to make the gank actually effective, to not use your toilet paper Q to hit Trynda when his Q is also up, that's the biggest mistake you can do, and even if you hit it, it's still very volatile because trynda could go into a brush and effectively dodge it.

That's why you as a jungler, when you gank, you always go in parallel to Trynda's walk path, so if he walks right, you walk from the river up to the location he is gonna be at the end of his path. That's where your vlad goes in (hopefully) and helps you out, you just walk up to trynda, start your baby tears and slap him with your double buffs and if he Q's, you Q aswell, because his Q can't change the direction of his movement when it's in usage, that's why it becomes a lot easier to hit your Q during that time. Vlad will probably have done almost the last amount of damage combined with your red buff and your crybaby tears to make Trynda use his ultimate. That's when you ult, then just let vlad ulti him at the precise moment where the ult will deal the last damage when the trynda ulti goes off.

It's a lot about skill, mechanics and game knowledge, and a good reaction time of course.

I only know this because I've played the game for so long, I could give you some more examples of what you could do. But for now I just want to talk about Don't listen to "That guy"
Well its one of 2 things.

1. You are not ganking enough
2. People you play with are noobs.

Check out my guide about Yasou please.

Two things wrong that not just him but many others say when you ask for how to win games, "you aren't ganking enough". The statement has a truth to it, if you gank more and do them succesfully, you contribute more to your team, but in return, you won't get as much gold and farm as the other jungler unless he has been doing a lot of ganks aswell, but this statement is very naive, because not only does it degrade ganks as "simple matters" and something that you just have to do if you want to win. That's not of course to say he is all wrong(except with the second statement where he generalizes all the people you've ever played with as a jungler where you lost), but he is very naive for saying that.

One thing you should never do is sacrifice too much time to gank a lane, farm is king vs kills. That's why I go about farming, untill I get my core item with the newly added smite item aswell, and I only gank at certain times where their botlane, mid or top isn't warded. There's very very noticable positions that you have to take note of when you gank, and it applies to both toplane and botlane, when they are standing closer to the middle of the lane than they are standing in relation to your toplane tower, you shouldn't be ganking unless they commit to pushing even more forward away from mid. There's always this repeating position in all games, where a jungler can gank.

Another thing you should take note of, is mostly about toplane, but can also be applied to botlane or mid, how many minions are on the enemy's side? If there's a bunch of minions there, don't gank, because the minions can kill you combined with that "XXX" champion.

Sorry for sending this really long post :P Just love to discuss about these matters
