Maw actually said nearly the same thing, and the point that both of you brought up is the reason why I am changing it. Maw's guide is a perfect example: almost no art whatsoever, but the coding makes it look gorgeous.
Jhoi's Ashes to Ashes guide is another great example.
Essentially, you are right. Art does not need to be a factor in order for a guide to be visually appealing.

I always thought you needed a guide in the first place in order to get it reviewed
Hey Electro, welcome back. Have a crack at my revamped Janna guide ^.^
Type: The Harvard if you don't mind, but if you'd rather do something simpler, I don't mind :)
Guide: Janna guide
Description: Pretty in-depth Janna support guide. Used to be quite popular before I archived it, and I've revamped it fully in Janury.

You need to log in before commenting.
If you use guide chapters they already have the chapter titles shown. If you use a single chapter style format like the one I use, then you can simply type and format titles yourself. There's really no reason to stick a bunch of pictures in a guide except to get enough characters for it to actually count as one, it's really no different than sticking the champion lore in its own chapter to bump up your character count. It adds virtually nothing to the guide that you couldn't add with good coding and text colors.
I don't care about my score in this particular case and I don't expect you to change it, I just want to point that out.
