I also had a high MMR for where I was at the end of the season and it's only a soft reset. How you do in your provisional matches matters a lot less than it did last season, they did that on purpose.

I got placed in Plat 1 on hey its talon, plat 3 on my main, and plat 1 on Uzi Junior, my ADC only account.

Diamond 5 on my main, diamond 3 on hey its talon, and plat 2 on Uzi Junior, but it had diamond 4'ish MMR.

Haven't played any placement matches on my main yet, but am 6-2 on a smurf which I got to 30 on the day of the reset. Got three quadra kills so far, one of which would've been a penta had Khazem not stolen it ;-;
