So I had the whole 10 minute rage of two (probably duo) people on my team after the game ended copied, but of course I ended up copying a URL over it being an idiot. Anyways, after the enemy team secured a dragon, I realized we probably needed one too. So the second the next dragon was up I told the team we should go. This is when the rage started. "We don't need that", "that's a 4v5 idiot", and so on. Anyways I ended the game 7/5/6 and we WON. Yes, we WON and they still felt the need to be toxic towards me. They told me I should commit suicide, I suck, I'm worthless, woulda done better without me, blah blah blah. I'll admit I played some parts stupidly such as going b to get an item and going to red instead of going top to push with everyone else. Although I got bot tower/inhib after sooo... Anyways, the question after all of this idiocy is: Does the childish, rude, life threatening behavior lessen at all as you rank up? Every few games there is always one toxic jerk who ruins the game, and to be toxic, especially after winning, is completely childish and ridiculous. I know S3 could be considered current elo hell, but please, does it ever end?! If not, bye league :)

Stupid people are everywhere, rating doesn't matter. You won't meet those people in every game in silver and you won't meet people like that in every game in platinum, just every once in a while. Mute them if they bother you, and report them after the game.

I think the only difference is what those players will flame you for. A platinum player probably won't be saying "OMG STOP FOCUSING THE TANK" as often as a bronze player would, but he'll still find something else to complain about I'm pretty sure.

Is there any meaning of reporting those people? Imho absolutely nothing. Let's assume he will get a report or 2 in every single game during the day. What is next? He will be put back in lower priority queue for a while but after that it will start over again.

Muting is the best option. I've already muted countless people (I think 1 person in every other game) and feels better. You should mute them as early as possible. You know those people who says 'noob' immediately after first blood or the ones who you ask to please place at least one ward and they say 'noob support you ward'. You know what I'm talking about!

I play mostly on EUNE servers and I feel bad for some decent players from certain countries (no, I'm not racist) as 80% of the players are more than toxic and even if you try to be nice to them and correct their mistakes they start to flame and keep doing things wrong. And because of them they have to suffer from stereotypes.

Also another helpful thing is dodging a game in champion select. Whenever you see 'top or feed' kind of people you can think it over if you want that headache plus the -xx LP.

Sorry buddy but there are things that will never change. But sometimes I still don't know which type is the worse. The constant flamer or the one who got stuck at tutorial level but plays ranked game and after raging for 10 mins call the whole team noob..

This has nothing to do with your personal opinion :P Reporting someone may result in them chat restricted, temporarily or permanently banned or warned. It doesn't take more than 10 seconds, and it takes less than 3 seconds if you don't write anything in the box and so you might as well do it.

Is it really the best option? Muting someone means you won't be able to see anything they write in chat. That could be "you're stupid" and it could also be "diana going bot". You'll still hear pings, but some people don't ping (enough) and you'll die just because you couldn't read your teammates' chat messages. I don't mute unless I absolutely have to, and that's one in 100 games for me.

I think people are too sensitive. When someone starts flaming most people just throw oil in the flame. You need to learn how to mediate the situation so it doesn't get worse, rather than mute that person, get frustrated and then whine about flamers. No offence, I'm just saying. I find the League community to be pretty positive overall, and that's because whenever I do come accross a flamer, I know how to handle it so that they shut up.

I played the previous game with this guy who was against Katarina at mid and he was 0/9 around 12min mark.
Now he wanted to go top.. No, thank you. Had to dodge.

I think I'm done for today.
