Dark souls/Demon's souls taught me how to improve. When you feel the sting of defeat you don't give up, understand what went wrong, and come back with a new and improved battle plan.
You thought you were gonna live?...But I had already pressed R.

Good tips!

>> 1. You Rage
Not me! I think I am a very good sportsman...maybe too nice. :)

>> 2. You Don't CS Well
Yep that is me!!! When I started LoL I played ADC (seemed safe...ranged attacks), but I just cannot CS under pressure. I often end up with 30 CS at 10 min. Then once behind, it gets even harder to CS. I do better at top or mid, assuming I have an AD champ or an AP champ with a skill that is good for minions (Annie, Morgana, etc.). In a custom game without enemy bots I can get around 70-80 CS in 10 min as ADC. A 1v1 custom game drops to 50-60. It really is amazing what you can buy even if you are 0-0-0 with 80 CS.

>> 3. You Don't Ward
I ward pretty solidly as Support (rush Sightstone) and Jungle (often get Sightstone or purchase wards). Aside from just warding around lane, as other roles I try to get 1-2 pinks out a game and I have been playing around with upgrading my Trinket. The 250 gold upgrade is pretty nice. I see a lot of games where everybody has a trinket, and all they use it for is the occasional checking a bush.

>> 4. You Pick Anti-Meta Champions
No me...I actually spend way too much time looked at "top tier" lists.

>> 5. You Lack Awareness
That is a problem of mine. As jungle I am forced to watch the map. As support I try to keep an eye on my half of the mini map. As Top, Mid and ADC I tend to be so focused on my lane that I lose track.

>> 6. You Make Poor Trades
Maybe. As Jungler I struggle with the "help lanes or farm" question. I do see this a lot in my elo. My team will win a team fight 3-1 and then just go back to farming or recall without taking a tower. That is probably the mistake that I see the most...thinking that the object of the game is to kill the enemy when really kills are just one of the things that helps you take towers/inhibs/nexus. That the kill was "worth" when you give up control of mid lane for it.

>> 7. You Don't Have a Main Role
My roles are support and jungle. They both have a bit of a utility role to help the team that fits my playstyle. I find that I just have not played enough games as Top and Mid and after the first 10 minutes sometimes I just don’t quite know what to do at that role (roam/teleport, push for second tower, defend MY second tower, farm, etc.).

What about the times that you play support and your adc blames you for every little thing they do wrong? I like this game but these kids who rage on here are lucky I'm not close enough to find them. It's just a game and if you dive like a ****** I can't save you.

Or the teammates who say you don't ward when you've placed 40 or so. I mean the Ruby Sightstone that they can clearly see in my inventory is there for health? Or the pinks I place are just for fun? Really like this game and Ranked is great but honestly this list is only helpful if you don't get someone who falls into this category on your team.

I do agree with 7. I'm not the best at cs'ing in lane so I play support. I like it as it has freedom, but hate it when my adc just thinks I can read their minds. Or worse the feed/can't cs.

I would say I agree a lot with your points! Maybe not every single one but atlas, warding, flaming/raging, farming and so on makes a big differences. Even though you play good, you are not a good player before you stop flaming I would say. Ofc you have to be good at other things, but if you drop the raging and stuff things will go a lot easier.

One thing that I have noticed is that talking back to someone that is flaming you, is almost the same as flaming. You show that you care about what they are saying and they get your attention. So lets use the mute button more guys!

Yeah I think being support in Silver 5 may be unrealistic for me. My last 5 ADC's haven't been able to last hit better than 50%. That is the role that relies the most on their teammates. So I think I;m going to work on other roles for now.

The ****py part is that in my Provisionals I was matched with Gold players and I did really well. now with the Silver 5's it's like playing with brand new players in bot games. Nobody pings/wards/plays objectives. As a support you can't switch to carry the entire team mode like other roles can.

That is my concern right now, "as support you can't switch to carry the entire team." (I know high elos can, but this boob can't!)

I love Janna, but I can't dominate with her.

I'm 29 about to go 30 and I started practicing jungle when I hit 25. I was playing normals and realized that a ****py adc (talking 40 cs or less at 10 mins) was absolutely going to kill me. So I looked for a role that I could possibly carry with.

Though maybe the real answer is to duo with a good adc...

Whatever happens I will be low elo and I'm reading every tip I can find. Thanks for putting these together!

Okay so here is the thing. At the champion select look up at least a few member of your team on op.gg and you can immediately see how bad or eventually good they are. If you see there is a good chance for a defeat just pick a support who can carry later on such as Karma, Morgana, Brand, Vel'Koz or an absolutely non-conventional Rengar or AP Miss Fortune. But you can also pick a support who can easily win the game for your team with it's split pushing abilities like AD Malzahar.

And when they call you a troll or noob you just respond like this: you can thank me later.
