Bard is the most difficult support right now. In soloQ in low elo he sucks horribly. In team rankeds and really high elo hes awesome (LCS). He was even banned some times in lcs

Well since I have not much experience and therefore my teammates also lack a lot of it. I often find myself in teams were at least 1 or 2 players only go for kills and hope the objectives will come along. When I want to play Bard, this is my solution.
Maybe there is more potential in Bard, when the whole team sticks to strategic descision and he does not need to conenctrate on the focus i have in that build.
But for today I have no way to find out, and other bronze players will have the same problem.

Mind you, most of the problem seems to just be that Bard is very difficult to play - and play WITH without experience.

Tbanks for the response. Wooglets Witchap is definietly an error. Funny thing is, the restriction is not noted in the popup. I added it to the set, even in my last games I always needed the banshees, so I didnt notice the flaw. Switching Inspiration to Wanderer will be tested instantly.

Yo, not gonna object to taking smite on non-jungle champions since its upgrades can be circumstantially good, but the one you offer isn't really great. The idea of bard isn't that he goes roaming around by himself, but that he can go around the map quickly so he can be with whatever teammate needs assistance. The point of supports is to give their teammates utility, while other champions focus on clearing waves to increase their damage. If a support is forced to clear waves by themselves, they're in a bad spot.

The point in Inspiration is a bit of a waste. It only gives 5 exp every ten seconds and only when near allies. To put that into perspective a single melee minion gives 59 exp on death, caster minions give 30 and siege minions give 92.
You'd be better off getting the point in Wanderer as that'll help get you back into lane and collect your chimes faster, which in turn means you'll get more exp since you'll be in lane sooner.

Also Wooglet's Witchcap isn't usuable on summoners rift. Its only for use in dominion or 3v3. I believe the item you meant to refer to was Zhonya's Hourglass
