Thnx for the replies guys! Well, since Akali is a jungler I don't thick she would be right for me. I play Twisted Treeline(TT) all the time and have only played Summmoners Rit 1-2 times. Is Akali really a hardcore jungler or can she also be effective in TT where there is barely any jungle.
I always got the idea that if you control the buffs in TT is almost a garanted win, so jungling there would be really helpful and Akali can jungle with her passive spell vamp, but, generally, to TT I prefer to take a strong hero instead of a squishy one
It's your call tbh :) Just mind this: In terms of fun Akali > Garen (imo)

Shaco is a lot easier to play and he racks up the kills pretty well if you know what you're doing. He's basically unkillable if you know how to be creative with Decieve and his Decieve nuke is crazy. If you decide to do AP builds, I think rushing Lich Bane may be the way to go, maybe getting some CDR after that and so on. AD builds are a lot easier to pull off, though.
Akali is just as fun as Shaco, imo. Both are as deadly in the right hands, it's just that Akali's escape maneuvers are harder to master. Using that shroud is harder than you think and her ult isn't like Shunpo (although I wish it would be).

Wouldn't we all? :P But then she would be a simple Kat rip-off :) I like her uniqueness like this. Just a note: no one likes Shaco when they're on the enemy team :P

yeah i'd agree about shaco hatred. he's been banned in almost every ranked game i've played.
another good idea for shaco is stacking sunfire capes. makes him a crazy powerful tank, especially with his ulti, which the sunfire capes work on his clone.

Definately Shaco. He's extremely fun to play, and is basically inmpossible to kill. The enemy has seven seconds to kill you when you pop up, and if they don't you just deceive away. (Really pisses me off when playing against him.) Also, He can dish out huge amounts of damage, and is easy to get fed with early game.

I just started out and am a lvl 10 Summoner. So far I have only played tanks(Amumu and Nunu) and have been pretty good with them.
I really want to try a non-ranged DPS and can't decide between both of them. If you have a better suggestion for a DPS costing 3150IP please post it too. Pros and Cons would be appreciated.
EDIT: After careful consideration of a list of several DPS for 3150 IP I have narrowed the list down to:
-Akali
-Shaco
Please ignore the thread title now and help me choose between the two
