It's just that once you've built Avarice, there's no backing out of building Shiv. The stats that PD gives over Shiv aren't enough that it's worth building it just because you B with 1700 gold while you have [[avarice blade]] and [[zeal]]. [[avarice blade]] is often a good purchase when it's the biggest gold item you can afford, and so that's when you should build [[statikk shiv]] imo. Otherwise if you don't find a good time to build it, or just don't want to, then you build PD. If I were just comparing the items themselves, I would say, always build PD over Shiv. But realistically, there's a lot of scenarios where [[avarice blade]] is arguably an optimal purchase, and once you have that, PD stops being an option.[/quote]

I'd say that [[phantom dancer]] is pretty equal considering that it does increase your sustained damage (which makes you better at taking objectives and dealing damage when a fight lasts for a couple seconds).[/quote]
