I'd have to say I like the fact that I'm a very (VERY) patient and very calm guy. I believe that if it wasn't for that, some people would get hurt pretty badly already, not even joking. I think some people just wouldn't be able to put up with the amount of sh*t I deal with from time to time.

How good are you in school/college? (two completely different things, but meh)

My last grade point average was 1.4 (on a scale from 0,7 up to 5.7). In case I want to study medicine immediately after graduation without needing to wait for a place at university I'd need a grade point average of 1.0 or 1.1 (the best possible average in this calculation is 1.0 and not 0.7).

Which person inspires you the most?

How odd! The way GPA works in the US is quite different. Could you expand a little bit on that?

I think the person that Neil DeGrasse Tyson is my inspiration. I haven't met someone that's both as passionate, and as knowledgeable in their work than him. Whenever I'm frustrated with chemistry - be it problem sets, or just stress, he's a role model for me: I try to love my studies as much as he loves his astrophysics.

I like this question a lot, so I'll have it be my question too:
Which person inspires you the most?

In points my grade point average is 12.7 which you can convert into the standard grade system in Germany (1 to 6) just like I did it (1.4) as well. I've still got one year of school left and the Abitur (graduation) will affect my grades quite heavily as well. I'm going to write Abiturprüfungen (graduation exams) in English, Biology and German + an oral exam in Geography. Every single Bundesland (federal state) in Germany handles their school system differently. In Niedersachsen for instance, students have to select three instead of two Leistungskurse (advanced classes) and in some Bundesländern school is one year longer for students (13 instead of 12 years).
Universities consider the lastly mentioned grades (numerus clausus) and with my current NC (1.4) I wouldn't be able to study medicine or psychology right away yet I've the opportunity to wait for a place at university or do a test to improve your NC (TMS). However, not every university offers such tests. I consider studying bio medicine and to be able to study it I'd currently need a NC of about 2.1 - 2.3 at least. It can change tho because it depends on the students applying every year.

Question remains the same: Which person inspires you the most?

I am not currently studying anything and I will start studying business informatics in sebtember if nothing goes horribly wrong.

What emoriam said about the numerus clausus isn't quite right. When applying at a university, you might come across the nc, but that is the grade of the person with the lowest grade that got in the year before you applied(this can also mean that this person waited 3 semesters and got in with a certain grade which makes the number even harder to compare). This means that you can just apply at any university with any grade and you may or may not get in.

The NC is also not the only way to get into a university. Sometimes anyone can get in, sometimes the university makes a test and decides based on that. Most of the time, it is a mixture of multiple methods(2/3 of the places via nc and 1/3 via a test or something along those lines).

fun fact: You need 5 points to pass an exam, not 4. 5 points still translates to a c- though. Don't ask me why, some 90 year-old dude who hasn't seen a school from the inside since ww2 prohably decided it 20 years ago, so it must make sense.

I was mostly referring to medicine though and the NC hardly changes in that regard. 20 per cent of the students receive a place by simply having the best graduation, 20 per cent recive a place due to the waiting time and 60 per cent are part of the general selection procedure.
It's true, people who don't have a clue about schools made this system work.

Question: Do you like country music?

Yeah. Does that include Taylor Swift before she went cray cray because of her boyfriends? I like her until now, but she was much better before (in her debut album).

Do you want to see the future?

Maybe almost the whole day (12 hours). I'm currently a NEET until the end of this month.
