An Expected Journey: S5 ranked with Nameless

I feel like going full AP is fine if your team doesn't need you to get something else and you're doing well enough that an enemy won't just burst you and render you nonexistent in every teamfight. Unfortunately, it's pretty common that the team needs things like locket, so it's difficult to justify not getting them if no one else will (not that anyone besides Nick (DantetheTraveler) notices what I build, so this is mostly personal justification).

I very much agree that duoing in two separate roles is much better than both going botlane for that reason, but imo you guys taking jungle/mid/top are much better combos to duo carry with than support + sololane.

Also ibrius does know what he's talking about lol. Just maybe Janna might not be the best choice for what he's saying but he's definitely right.

If you think that you're much better than your enemies just take Leblanc or Annie or Sona or Zyra or Brand or something, skip sightstone and build full AP and carry.

When I was gold in season 3, Sona was one of my mains and I would just build straight AP right after sightstone.

I feel like there's an issue when the way to climb with a role is to basically not actually play it.

Support has felt a lot less impactful for me since the addition of trinkets. That changes when your ADC knows what they're doing though. But solo carrying as support while actually supporting has taken a large hit since season 3 in my opinion.

I agree. The last time I could actually climb was season three and it's really frustrating because I was way worse a player then. It feels like they've taken most of the actual skill out of the role in favor of "play whatever the hell you want and don't actually ward or build items your team needs", at least in low elo.

Ok whatever i will give you other advice:

First let me explain myself on the part i say that its better DuoQ bot lane:
-She main support
-They Duo Q

When you Duo Q you should know that your MMR is higher than it should be for example let's both of you are silver 3 you have chances that your opponent will be gold.
Knowing that it's very risky to go Mid and support why ?

Well simple let's say you go support your mate go Mid and with bad luck your mate silver 3 is against a gold 4 snowballing chanmpion like zed yasuo talon leblanc....
He will probably loose lane i'm not saying that he is bad but let's face it that way there is a difference between bronze silver and the other divisions.

If your mate loose lane as Mid the game is most probably over if your jungler go gank to help 70% of chance that it will end up with a double kill so what leave it ? You can't because a good midlaner will roam like crazy.

In the other hand if you are bot in bot lane you guys have a huge advantage :

-You guys know each other and most probably the opposite team is not in duo Q bot
-You guys on teamspeak you can know the moves of each other.

Communication is the key of winning games if your opponent flash heal teleport if the bush is warded say it to your team.

Let's say you win bot lane Roam leave you adc bot farming !!!! SAFELY !!! and roam mid help to get a him a kill
Or if your lane is push just roam both of you

You can win Games if you roam and your adc is fed
If you see that the other lanes are ok Speedpush Take objectifs turrets more worth than a kill if you already have some kills.


For me to say the truth the best roles to DuoQ are mid + jungle

Forget about top most of the time both are tanks they will farm to get tanky and help in teamfights only.
If your mate adc is fed don't get greedy it can kill games don't tower dive except if you are sure to kill as support take the aggro of the turret at least if one of you die it won't be the adc and it won't give a shut down to the other team


The key is gold if you see that you guys behind def and farm farm.

The best roles to carry are (in order) :
-Jungle
-Mid
-Adc
-top
-support

Don't forget the pink wards the oponent destroy it they loose time farming or destroying objectives buy an other one it gives vision vision is very important.

Don't feed but do not be affraid of dying lets say 4 guys chase you to kill you for 2 min well bait them attract them even if you die why ???
Because those 2 min the 4 guys are one you leave your team farming getting objectives dragon turrets etc... and those guys wont be farming.

Be smart look the map be aware of what's happening arround don't care about ppl that taunt or whats so ever.
Split push either you will destroy a turret or at least attract 2 guys on you don't forget 2 guys on you means that if you team start a teamfight it will be 4 vs 3 .

Well that is some of the advice i can remember :)

If one lane start to feed example top is feeding tell your jungler to not gank top he will probably give a double kill just tell your top laner to farm under turret and to be safe.

You should be the one who coordonate your team to be affraid of giving advice or ideas some ppl will not like it but try stay polite and suggest things :)
