Pretty much this. I mean, sometimes it's fine to stick with what you had after testing – not in this case of course – but this is at least the proper way to deal with it.

Didn't know this; makes it slightly less garbage, but still; if you look at what the item does, she just does not need it, it's that simple. It's like Deathcap on Elise or something; yeah it works, and yeah, it's not totally inefficient, but it simply doesn't provide the champion with anything they need. It's like Christmas when you're a twenty-three year old; sure, you can ask for Fallout 4, but you're getting socks and a dishtowel because that's more useful.
This is why I always get money for Christmas from everyone. I'll buy my own presents tyvm
About Rylai's: Q will still apply the 40% ever since they buffed AoE Rylai immensely. This means you have a great way to keep stacking slows. The item also gives good stats.

I don't think it's a "must buy" item, I just think it fits a different role from Zhonya: one is better for AoE/bursty engages, whereas the other provides more utility and peel for yourself and/or the team.
