They confuse me. My friend is one, and I never understood the point of disliking something just because normal people like it.

I don't see it as a valid way of thinking.

I'm going to go ahead and see this as your question, to which I will reply: No, as I would rather Cipher messages if I were to be "confidential". Caesar Cipher is a personal favourite, as it is easy to pick up, yet hard for others to figure out.
