You're absolutely right. No one cares about guides on a League of Legends guide site anymore. Everyone back to Off-Topic!

I sort of agree with this, but on the other hand, GMD's gifs are interesting and they're never in Off-Topic.

Basically MOBAFire.

All guides that are updated for the season and meet the word limit to be "a guide" are automatically entered I think.
To add, last year all guides above 70% rating were automatically eligible for the contest (this to make sure judges wouldn't have to go through 100+ guides each). However, judges were allowed to add guides that were below that rating themselves if they really felt like it deserved to be included in the contest.

To clarify this is something we do to help the judges sort through guides as you said, but any guide that meets the contest qualifications can win the random draw prize. :)
Also really glad people are liking the figurine prizes! :D We thought they'd be fun and Riot has really expanded their selection since last year.

I've got a couple questions:
- Does the Top Rated category consider votes cast during this 30 day period, or all cumulative votes on the guides? Or something different? It doesn't make much sense to compare a fresh guide with 10 votes with a guide that's been around since 2013 with 230 votes.
- For the Laning guides (top lane specifically), do the judges consider off-meta champions that are still viable, and if so, are those off-meta champions at a disadvantage? Also, since all of the judges are Diamond+, what level of play will they be judging the guides for?
Can't wait to polish up my guide once finals are done :)
